The functional characteristics of the study sample have influences on their attitudes in understanding the level of application of the basics of total quality, and this hypothesis contains four sub-hypotheses according to the number of functional characteristics included in the questionnaire.
Research community and sample:
The research community was represented by three industrial companies in the category of food processing, all of which are located in the city of Taiz and belong to the private sector, and all of these companies apply the ISO 9001/2000 system, and they have previously applied the ISO 9002/1994 system. Soap and 70 forms in the Miscellaneous Industries and Packing Materials Company.

In this research, the deductive approach was relied upon in the study, analysis, conclusion and comparative analysis through a field study through questionnaire forms distributed to the occupants of administrative positions (worker or employee / observer or supervisor / department manager or head of a department) in the various administrative units included in the research community production and maintenance, marketing and sales
, quality and planning, human resources management and other departments, including finance) and relied on the primary sources of data for the purpose of collecting the necessary data for the research and related to the basic hypotheses of the research.
The statistical methods used in the study:
The questionnaire forms were collected from the companies included in the study, and then the data were processed by computer through the program designed for that, and the researcher unloaded the data. (SPSS WIN V.13.0) The data was analyzed using a number of statistical methods that are consistent with the research hypotheses and its objectives, and the most important methods used are:
1- Descriptive statistical methods, as follows: percentages, frequency, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and coefficient of variation.
2- Statistical and analytical methods. These methods were represented in the use of the Kolmorov-Smirnov test and the Kruskal-Wallis test.
Research plan:
In order to achieve the objectives of the research, it has been divided into an introduction to the research methodology and a theoretical entrance in addition to the practical side, which has three sections devoted to it.
